FutureNow Development Initiative is a
non-governmental organization founded in Bauchi
State, Nigeria in the year 2021, With the aim
of creating vibrant platforms for human
development through enhancing
skills and capacities
Aims
Creating vibrant platforms for human development
Aim at promoting inclusiveness in planning, monitoring and evaluation of right and policies
Aim at increasing participation and development through capacity building trainings
to create equal opportunity for human development irrespective of his or her gender,religion, age or ethnic group
Aim at easing idleness through empowerment programs and skill aquisition trainings
Objectives
The group will fulfil the aim by:
1. Providing safe space for human development
2. Strenghtening the capacity of the communities to cater and improve children
wellbeing by increasing access to education, livelihood(adequate food) and healthcare
3. Community sensitization and mobilization on harmful practices,stigma, discrimination etc
through creative presentation such as drama, debates, radio engagement etc.
4. Increasing participation in civic engagement
5. Promoting and encauraging education to families in communities
6. Provision of basic needs i.e. food, clothing, medical care, etc to children with disabilities, etc in various communities in the district and neighboring districts.
